The Experienced Investment Banking Analyst in Private Capital Markets provides specialized financial and statistical analysis on a broad range of capital raise marketing and execution activities. The Analyst works side-by-side with senior bankers across industry verticals to help originate, structure and distribute creative financing solutions.Depth & Scope:Assists in execution of live capital raise processes across private credit, private equity and hybrid capital, including active communication with management teams, investors and advisersDevelops tools to strengthen investor relationships, maintains investor-related databases and analyzes and collects market intelligence to enhance investor targeting effortsWorks within a deal team under the overall direction of a senior officer to coordinate and manage complex, time-sensitive processesAssists in the analysis of clients' capital structures, financial situation, industry and market data, capital raise opportunities and assesses valuations of private and public companiesPerforms basic to intermediate financial modeling in Excel for returns analysis across various structured financial instrumentsDrafts external client proposals and internal underwriting memos; assists in the preparation of client presentations based upon the aboveEstablishes an environment that promotes respect for the individual employee and adheres to the policies and guidelines of the BankMaintains confidentiality of client informationAssists in recruiting and talent development for the teamExperienced working professional level role providing a broad range of support to the teamAssists in valuations of private and public companiesEducation & Experience:Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics;Series 7, 79 and 63 is preferred1-3 years of related experience in investment banking, private equity or a related capital markets roleDemonstrated interest in private capital markets, structured transactions, direct investor workFlexibility and desire to work in a high-paced environment, work across industries and be exposed to a broad range of complex financial instrumentsWho We Are TD Securities offers a wide range of capital markets products and services to corporate, government, and institutional clients who choose us for our innovation, execution, and experience.
